Director Antoine’s Fuqua’s follow-up to the Oscar winning Denzel’s “Training Day”, this time in the story of Bruce Willis as Lt. A.K. Waters, a Navy Seal officer on a mission to rescue the beautiful doctor (Monica Bellucci) from war-torn Nigeria. Finding the good doctor isn’t a problem. The problem is being torn between the conflict of following orders from his Commander (Tom Skerritt) and helping her with her intended mission. Coincidentally, but not surprisingly he falls for her. Finally Willis is back in the action adventure genre like “Die Hard” that made him a household name, but the storyline has a retread feeling of “Three Kings” written all over it. Even with its hoopla as the movie opens, the audience will spend their entire time comparing the two as it progresses.
