LEGO Batman (reviewed by our Guest Critic: The Movie Knight)  Lego Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) is the ultimate crime fighting machine. When The Joker (voiced by Zach Galifianakis) gets all of Batman’s villains and more to take down the crime fights, he still manages to overcome all odds and stop the bad guy’s plans and doing it in style too. All The Joker really want is for Batman to acknowledge that he is the caped crusader’s biggest foe, but Gotham City’s greatest hero will do no such thing.
While everyone believes Batman must live an awesome life, in reality he’s quite lonely. His alter ego, Bruce Wayne lives in a big mansion with only his butler, Alfred (voice by Ralph Fiennes) and his computer to keep him company. While visiting an orphanage, he adopts a boy without realizing it, Dick Grayson (Voiced by Michael Cera) who quickly becomes Batman’s sidekick, Robin. He’s going to need all the extra help he can get as the Joker, feeling spurred has one more plan up his sleeve that may be too big for even our hero to handle.
This movie should have you laughing in under ten seconds. It moves that fast.  A signature of a good family film is that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Often, these animated outings are aimed only for children while the adults have to suffer for an hour and a half. Not in this case. In fact, one could argue that there are more jokes here for the parents than the kids. Even the action scenes are a delight to experience.
Spin-off movies rarely work, but this is a case where one outdoes the original. It is also Valentine’s Day weekend and there are a number of new releases to choose from. Whether this is something for the whole family or just date night, this is one fun time at the theaters.
