Cameron Diaz has a limited range in most comedies and let’s face it she’s not getting any younger, but wow, does she look great naked.  Along the lines of reviving a deflated comic career, this film taps into her Something About Mary appeal.

By day Annie (Cameron Diaz) blogs on “Who’s Yo Mommy” about the sheer exhaustion of parenting and life with husband Jay (Jason Segel).  Annie blogs about the way it used to be. Sex in the shower, on their honeymoon, etc, but the reality is that now that they have two children, when they have a night alone, they just want to nap.

That is until one special evening Grandma takes the kids. Annie and Jay make a video. When they choose the kitchen floor as a romping destination, Annie says “I can’t do this here….I can see my ‘to do list.’ The movie is very relatable to any married couple with kids…except Annie’s husband Jay gives away his used iPads to friends and family, he’s just synched the video to auto-download.

Just when you think the film will get redundant after the first ten minutes of ‘the big reveal’ the movie surprises us by oddly having a plot, becoming almost like “The Hangover of couple’s escapades” with twisted one-upping from one scene to the next.

Rob Lowe is the Silicone Valley ‘it’ guy whose crazy lifestyle and psycho German Shepard mirrors Mike Tyson and his tiger in The Hangover.

On making your own videos of making whoopee…Don’t try this at home. But do go see Diaz try it at the movies. I can’t believe I’m saying this but…
