The movie opens by announcing that we were once a peaceful race of intelligent mechanical beings while adding some
footage – circa 1960- that always seems to include JFK and the mission on the moon. Apparently we are not alone. Not because of aliens, but because of cyber metal creatures.  (Eye roll. Whatever.)  While not as good as the first one, and better
than the last Sam (Shia LeBeouf) reprises his role as a just out of Ivy league grad who has a medal of honor from President Obama, but can’t seem to land a job. And he can barely keep the girl,  (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) as the new Megan
Fox love interest. Long-legged Victoria Secret model. Literally. She works for Dylan (Patrick Dempsey) a tycoon money baby who tosses her the keys to expensive sports cars which is supposed to add more sympathy to the underdog LeBeouf
character.  LeBeouf has just landed a job with Accuretta ‘s Bruce (John Malkovich) working in the mailroom until he’s recognized by Jerry (Ken Jeong of Hangover fame.)  When the film focuses on LeBeouf it pulls off being entertaining for adults, but with a plot over small boy’s heads.  When the film focuses on metal creatures colliding, any little boy will be thrilled, but parents will take a nap.  It’s up to LeBeouf to save the world, again. But personally and for every single hormone-driven
man in the audience, certainly they’re thinking he might just sell the sportscars, buy a house and settle down with the babe.  Two Tiaras
