– or seniors behaving badly.  The average band member is 80 and lives in a nursing home in North Hampton, Massachusetts.  Yet they join together three times a week to perform everybody from the Stones, to James Brown or the Talking Heads.  And they sing it, their way!  Stephen Walker follows these old folks around over the course of seven weeks before their scheduled concdert – and manages to acquire 24 grandparents in the process – in the most darling documentary ever made.  Some can really sing, some can’t sing, and some just fall asleep in the middle of rehersals.  But you’ll laugh out loud and then tremble and cry softly as we fall in love with each one of these real life characters.  And when you leave the theatre you’ll have learned that it’s never too late to live a little and certainly you’re never too old to sing.  Four tiaras.
