Ten years ago Adam Sandler gave us “The Wedding Singer” and “Billy Madison.” Lately it’s been “Fifty First Dates” and “Chuck and Larry” (not too bad, but not great). Now it’s this.  One has to wonder how he gets a project green lighted when the premise is about an assassin Secret Agent trained to kill Arabs who would decides to give it all up to be a oversexed Manhattan hair dresser.  While his situations border on ridiculous and he has absolutely no political wit, the movie does has its hilarious moments.  But should we be laughing/poking fun at terrorism in a day and age when loved ones will never forget 9/11?  Somewhere we need to draw the line even if Sandler is cute, adorable, funny and energized.  Somehow I believe deep inside he has a mushy American side and somehow I think he’s still Happy Madison minus a few French fries in his Happy Meal judgement.  2 tiaras
