rated PG-13  Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) doesn’t have the wardrobe or the attitude, but she’s got the charm and the inner beauty that no other assistant for fashion magazine’s RUNWAY has ever had. Editor-in-Chief Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) is the definition of Vogues’ Anna Wintour – legendary, evil and powerful, and able to recognize Hathaway’s qualities. The movie opens with the teasing trailer we’ve seen for months, before continuing on in pure perfection that would have put Halstons spring line to shame. If the Devil wears Prada, then God shops at Kmart, because this movie is a miracle of comedies!  Stanley Tucci is fabulous as the magazine’s art director, as is “Entourage” famer Adrian Grenier as Hathaway’s boyfriend, even if his role is a little one dimensional. This is the smartest and at the same time obnoxiously funny movie all year.  It’s got a Cinderella edge that withstands abuse or as Streep says to her assistant after constant insane responsibilities, ‘that’s all.”  FOUR CROWNS
