(Rated PG, approx. 100 mins.)  As though giving him a television show on “Animal Planet” wasn’t enough, now he’s got his own movie on the big screen! Aussie adventurer Steve Irwin a.k.a. The Crocodile Hunter, has avoided the death-roll before (aw, darn) and nabbed another feisty crocodile, hoping to save it from poachers. In this story (what little of it there is), Irwin doesn’t know that the “croc” has innocently swallowed a top secrete U.S. satellite beacon, and the poachers are actually American special agents sent to retrieve it. Crikey! Irwin’s ever-present wife Terry narrates commentary over the bush and through the outback adding insightful comments along the lines of, “That was a close one, Steve!” If Irwin the Crocodile Hunter could shut-up for two minutes maybe somebody could hand him another down-under script that actually achieves what he’s straining for: a merger of humor and wildlife in the vein of perhaps “Crocodile Dundee IV”. Until then, the Croc Hunter can’t crack it. Crikey again!
