(rated PG-13, 104 mins) Opens March 10th Keiran O’Donnagh (Hart) is a slightly bloated bachelor (polite way to say ‘beer guzzling’), who, along with his lovelorn mates, hatches a plan to bring true love at last into their tiny village on the Donegal coast. Together these hard-working, well-intentioned Irish dreamers devise a scheme (an ad in the Miami Herald) to entice American beauties to their annual dance, only to discover romance with the least likely women, (the ones right in front of their face). The harder the men work to lure the lovers from across the ocean, the more the local ladies see the stuff their lads are made of, and find themselves doing the luring. Stars Ian Hart, Ewan Stewart and Niamh Cusack in an anemic version of the usual Irish tales (from the producers of “The Full Monty”) minus a much needed Ned Devine.
