Always looking for action, five over-enthusiastic but under-stimulated Vermont State Troopers raise hell on the highway, keeping speeders, druggies and college kids heading across the border, anxiously looking in their rearview mirror. In their off time these Troopers, measure their body parts (if you catch my drift). About to face extinction from the government headed by Governor Jessman (Lynda Carter, Wonder Woman), these local troopers must rally through precarious situations to avoid their demise. Written by and starring a five-man comedy group (Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske) called Broken Lizard, the movie is more than a bunch of Saturday Night Live style skits. The five manage to demonstrate comic teamwork that takes their jokes and infuses some gross out integrity if that’s at all possible
