(rated PG, 89 mins)
Continuing their New York adventure, the Little family (Gena Davis, Hugh Laurie, Jonathan Lipnicki) deal with the latest saga of their newest child, Stuart, a mouse (voice of Michael J. Fox). This time Stuart is joined by a sexy pigeon Margalo (Melanie Griffith), the sly old cat, a reluctant Snowbell (Nathan Lane) and a bird named Falcon (James Woods) who poses a threat to Margalo because he turns out shady. Rob Minkoff again directs the sequel following the $140 million dollar grossing 1999 version this time with more style and effects than its already delightful, Leave It To Beaver-ish feeling original. And, thrown into the mix, Mrs. Little (Davis) has a baby so her maternal instincts over a this-time-ready-to-fly-the-coop Stuart, are really intact.
