Now out of college, the–I-give-new-meaning-to-dumb-blondes Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) is a TV anchorwoman. Her Eminem knockoff boyfriend (Simon Rex) seems to be the center of an investigation involving his brother (Charlie Sheen’s) farm. Like “Signs” meets “The Ring” the movie’s plot (and I use the term loosely) revolves around a spoof alien invasion and death via a videotape. This time directed by the original goofball director David Zucker of “Airplane” fame, Leslie Neilsen is even cast as the bumbling President of the United States. Yet despite some of its over-the-heads-of-kids trickery (like a Ku Klux Klan stunt in the Eminem rap scene) it fails at being anything other than crude and useless. With its funniest moments shown in the advertising trailer, you may want to see it simply before the real Michael Jackson sues.
