rated R – if you can get past the shaking/grainy camera work and the fact that Paul Walker is a bad ass (fresh off a family Disney movie “Eight Below”) you may just be able to like this violent tale of a low level mobster, Joey Gazalle (Walker) who disposes of “hot guns” for the mob.  When little boy neighbor Oleg (played by Cameron Bright, last seen as the spooky kid in “Birth”) uses his best friend’s fathers stashed away gun to shoot his Russian stepdad, all hell breaks lose and the movie’s premise becomes one of shoot and run. One of the scripts more original and noteworthy elements, is that unlike other violent dramas, this one exhausts every scene with a smart or added twist – really thinking through how to develop the story in a wave of constant surprises.   “Sopranos” Chazz Palminteri plays the crooked Detective and Vera Farmiga should be noted as an exceptional actress portraying Walker’s wife.   Three unexpected tiaras
