Tweenies will be thrilled to see Lance Bass of N Sync in his debut role in this romantic comedy except he’s nothing like that. Kevin (Bass) has everything going for him, but his lifelong lack of confidence keeps him from recognizing love and happiness – even if its sitting next to him. When Kevin meets the girl of his dreams, Abbey (Emmanuelle Chriqui) on Chicago’s “L” train, they connect immediately but he’s too shy to inquire her name or number. This is “tearing up his heart” and so the story goes. He launches a massive campaign with his buddies (including band member Joey Fatone) to locate Abbey. In the process he becomes the poster boy of Chicago and the target of every young woman’s affections. Bass is surprisingly good as a romantic lead (considering in real life he would have gotten the brown-eyed beauties number). For a silly little film it works and it’s biggest dilemma, screaming audience girls!
