Some guys just can’t grow up. Such is the case of three best buddies (Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson) who decide to relive their hey days by renting a home near a local campus to begin their own fraternity. Of course these thirty something guys haven’t been in college since the first Bush administration. Director Todd “Roadtrip” Phillips again entices us with kegs, girls and silly behavior although these three had a life and a purpose, each with a story gone wrong. Ferrell steals the movie with his SNL gag-style as “Frank the Tank”. It’s “Animal House” years later and it’s foolish fun with lots of laughs especially in the first half hour, mainly because of Dreamworks backing, really good acting, and a master of movies, producer Ivan Reitman. Expect nothing and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
