Gently narrated by Pierce Brosnan, Disney continues to live up to their promise of only delivering family films – next up is African Cats in 2011 – this one is about the power of our seas. What is the ocean? Seeing this film immerses you – no pun intended – into using all of your senses to really understand the mighty powers of our oceans. The movie is a great way for young children to see everything from iguanas to sea turtles and horseshoe crabs, and a relaxing way for any adult to escape the usual mayhem of blow-em-up-films. On the big screen it’s culmination of music and image feel like a visual symphony. But in the end, just be happy you aren’t a baby sea turtle. See the film and you’ll see what I mean.
