A spine tingling thriller in which faith battles reason, marking the directorial debut of Janusz Kaminski (Academy Award winning cinematographer “Saving Private Ryan”, “Schindler’s List”). Winona Ryder plays a young woman who becomes aware of a satanic conspiracy that will plunge the world into the ultimate darkness. To defeat the prophecy, she must convince a respected New York crime writer (Ben Chaplin), who is devoid of faith, that he is, in fact, the target of the conspiracy.
