Trading in one microphone for another, rapper, Lil’ Bow Wow debuts as a 15 year old orphan in the hip hop version of a boys’ style “Cinderella” meets “Pinnochio” tale. Like all dreamin’ boys he wants three things – cool sneakers, play on the NBA and in his case, to have a family. When a magical pair of sneakers are donated to the orphanage, rumored to be worn by Michael Jordan, the 5’2″ ‘wish-I-was-a little-bit-taller’ underdog, becomes a shooting star on the court. Part miniature Denzel Washington part Michael Jordan, Lil’ BowWow may be the next Eddie Murphy of slam-dunkin’ sequels. Includes quirky roles by Anne Meara as Sister Theresa and a favorite, Eugene Levy “Best In Show” as scene stealing Frank Bernard. Also stars real life NBA players Allen Iverson, Alonzo Mourning, Rasheed Wallace, Dikembe Mutombo, Karl Malone and Kevin Garnett.
